We Moved to Bluebonnet Boulevard!
Mar 20, 2026
I am excited to share that we are relocating our Baton Rouge office of The Stride Shop to a new space at 8801 Bluebonnet Boulevard. This move allows us to expand access to specialized physical therapy for runners and active individuals in the area while continuing to support our patients in both Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
From the beginning, our goal has been to provide a more personalized approach to sports physical therapy. We work primarily with runners, endurance athletes, and fitness focused individuals who want care that is specific to their training, movement patterns, and performance goals. Our focus includes detailed movement assessments, hands on treatment, injury prevention strategies, and education that helps athletes build strength, improve mobility, and stay healthy over the long term.
We founded The Stride Shop in 2019 because we saw a need for an alternative to traditional physical therapy. As physical therapists and runners ourselves, we wanted to create a space where athletes could receive individualized care that supports both recovery and performance. Over the years, it has been incredibly rewarding to see runners we have worked with achieve personal bests at events like the Louisiana Marathon and other endurance races across South Louisiana.
With growing demand for specialized running physical therapy in Baton Rouge, our new Bluebonnet Boulevard location will allow us to enhance the patient experience and serve more athletes. We frequently help runners manage common injuries such as knee pain, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon issues, hip pain, and other overuse related concerns. In addition to rehabilitation, we provide gait analysis, strength programming, return to running plans, and performance coaching to help athletes safely build mileage and prepare for races.
Baton Rouge has a strong and supportive running community, and this move gives us an opportunity to connect more deeply with local running groups, gyms, and endurance athletes. Seeing runners stay injury free, reach new goals, and continue doing what they love is what motivates our work every day.
We remain committed to helping runners and active adults move better, feel stronger, and train with confidence. Anyone interested in learning more about our services or scheduling an evaluation can contact us directly.
